As places start to open again, especially in California after a rigid lock down, businesses are trying to recover. Santa Maria Valley has launched a great incentive to get business started back up again, in a safe and orderly manner. Santa Maria Valley has launched its own kind of stimulus package that is reserved for those who come and stay two nights at one their beautiful hotels and inns. If you stay two nights at the same hotel, as splitting one night at two doesn’t work, you will receive 100 dollars in voucher or gift card form, to spend at local eateries, wineries, breweries, and more. They are coming off a rigid lockdown and expect those who visit to obey social distancing rules, use face masks, and wash hands regularly. Being safe, doesn’t mean you can’t still have a little fun and relaxation. Everyone needs a break from their own environment, even if you must bring work with you and this is a perfect opportunity to stay a couple nights in beautiful city.
How It Works
Santa Maria Valley requires that you use their website to book your room reservation to be eligible for the 100-dollar voucher/card. The website also showcases all the amazing things you can eat, see, and do. I know it seems rather odd, as COVID is still looming, but rest assured they are well equipped and plan ready to reopen safely. There is plenty to do, easy ways to sample the local offerings, and ways to de-stress without putting you or your loved ones at risk. With plenty of open coastline and beautiful scenery all over, you can easily social-distance and still feel on vacation. Act fast though! This stimulus offer is only available for the first 500 that sign-up for it. The offer is good between February 4th and March 31st. You must book your two night stay between those dates to be eligible.
Recommendations
AVR always has our customer’s best interests at heart and that is why we wanted to make sure news of this offer spreads. This is not only a great time to get out of the house for a change of scenery, it is an opportunity to help those whose livelihood depends on their business. For your hotel option, we here at AVR looked into it and found that Historic Santa Maria Inn, is the place to stay. This beautifully restored vintage is teeming with amenities and that rustic charm of old. It even has its own tap room that often has live music. Music is always between 8:30pm-11:30pm and there is no cover charge to get in. Be sure to check dates in advance if you want to enjoy a cocktail and listen to soothing melodies. There is so much local food that it is hard to pick. Santa Maria Valley talks a mean talk about their barbeque and so do the customers of The Hitching post. This old western barbeque joint serves a mean plate of BBQ. California isn’t normally known for its barbeque, but I bet there is a reason they keep making top 10 BBQ restaurant lists in the US. If you or the family isn’t up for BBQ, you have to try EL Pueblito Restaurant. This place is serving up true and family honed Mexican recipes spanning generations. The restaurant is family owned and makes all salsa and tortillas in house daily. You have got to order the Coctel de Camarones which is a shrimp cocktail like dish taken to a whole different level. There are other seafood options to enjoy with the dish other than shrimp as well.
AVR is proud to bring this amazing opportunity to our customers and hope our California-based customers or those abroad coming to the beautiful state, will take this offer up. All that’s left to do is hop in your AVR minivan rental from San Francisco or Los Angeles and rive along the beautiful coast to Santa Maria Valley. An impeccable AVR van, the beautiful coast, and a great getaway with 100 dollars included, what could possibly be better. Let’s make new memories safely and let AVR help you along the way. AVR, Because the journey should be just as fun as the destination.
