Starting in Portland, the American Lung Association's Reach The Beach cycling event covers 100 miles of beautiful routes. The first 50 miles cover scenic farmland and feature some short hills, plus one very challenging climb early on out of the gate. The second 50 miles (from Amity) will take you beside streams, stately trees and vineyards, with some lovely hills and curves.

Medical and mechanical support will be provided on the course. There will be eight lunch and snack stops. It all ends with a magnificent beach party with a delicious, hearty feast.
